SURFACE LANGUAGE

An oxidized silver band ring centering a single blue lapis lazuli cabochon, its deep azure surface flecked with pyrite inclusions that read as gold constellations against a midnight field. The stone is cradled in a bezel featuring carved geometric detailing suggestive of Egyptian revival motif work, angular facets and stepped shoulders evoking pyramid geometry. The band carries a heavy, almost black oxidation in its recessed areas, with the raised carved surfaces exhibiting lighter silver breakthrough. The interior of the band shows significant wear patina, evidence of sustained contact with skin over time. This is archaeological hardware, a relic of simulated antiquity.
