Code: SHT36
An anonymous, heavily processed piece referencing the elongated shirting blocks of Yohji Yamamoto. This garment has been subjected to extreme chemical depletion to achieve an authentic, fabricated age. It is a somber, muted layering tool that drastically alters the wearer's vertical proportions.
The shirt is constructed from a cotton substrate that has been heavily depleted through chemical washing, resulting in a mottled charcoal grey finish. The central graphic print is faded to perfectly match the degradation of the blank. The fabric edges feature mechanical rolling, and the extended fish-tail hem creates a dramatic trailing silhouette.
