A relic suspended in negative space. A long, unassuming cord drops the eye downward until it arrives at the object of consequence: a broken circle. Not a full ring, but a crescent wound tight upon itself, its two ends nearly touching like a mouth caught mid-word.
Cast in brass, the pendant carries a dense, weighted presence—its surface pitted and dulled, mineral rather than mirrored, as though excavated rather than crafted. The crescent's form recalls something primal: a tusk, a claw, a fragment reforged in metal. Black waxed cord ties the piece into wearable form, taut and cool against the organic bulk of the brass. Where cord meets metal, tight coiled wrappings stand in for clasps—bindings rather than mechanisms, restrained and utilitarian.
