Edwin, the Japanese denim house founded in 1947, built its reputation on precise wash engineering. This low-rise bootcut specimen carries that lineage visibly. The indigo has been stripped in lateral bands across the thighs and seat — bleach-heavy processing that reads almost marbled at the rear yoke. Whisker lines radiate from the coin pocket in dense, natural-looking compression folds. Front pocket arcs are outlined in heavy copper topstitching, mirrored on the back pockets where a pronounced W-shape flap anchors two oxidized bronze branded rivets per side. A small red script logo mark sits on the lower right rear pocket. Waistband hardware — four belt loops, two side-seam rivet points — finished in matching darkened copper. A red tab detail is visible at the interior waistband. The bootcut hem opens gradually from mid-thigh. Vertical grain lines in the base fabric remain legible through the wash.
