OBJECT STUDY

DKNY — launched 1989 as Donna Karan's urban diffusion line — here resolved into a mid-length technical shell in flat black polyester. The fabric carries a faint iridescent shift under light, characteristic of taffeta-weight nylon-adjacent weaves. Silhouette is boxy and unstructured. Stand collar fastens via two matte black snap buttons; a separate button-tab closure bridges collar to placket at the throat. Center-front concealed zip runs beneath a topstitched storm flap. Slant hip pockets sit flush against the shell. Back panel is clean and unbroken save for a single centered seam running collar to vent. Sleeve cuffs terminate with single-button tab adjusters. Interior reveals a grey fine-stripe polyester lining; the white DKNY woven label is sewn at center neck.
