SURFACE LANGUAGE

An anonymous piece heavily inspired by the voluminous, avant-garde shirting of Yohji Yamamoto. This garment is entirely overwhelmed by its massive frontal application, pushing the boundaries of traditional graphic scale. It utilizes extreme proportions to manipulate the wearer's physical space.

The shirt is constructed from a fluid cupro-blend and black cotton canvas, creating an incredibly relaxed, asymmetrical drape. The massive white graphic motif spans the absolute limits of the chest block, spilling over the seams. The heavy print physically dictates how the fabric falls and pools around the body.
