OBJECT STUDY

Japanese label Theoria — rendered here in its katakana form セオリア on the interior label — produces this cropped bolero in flat black polyester crepe. The front edge and hemline terminate in a gathered ruffle trim, scalloping across the lower body in irregular waves. Three fabric rosettes cluster at the left chest: one black satin rose with frayed petal edges, one leopard-print chiffon bloom in tan and black, one smaller beaded construction with sequined detailing. The collar sits shallow and round, unstructured. Interior lining is a smooth black satin-finish poly. Rear view shows a clean center-back seam, shoulder shaping absent of padding. Size marked 11AR — Japanese women's sizing. No closures. Worn open.
