SURFACE LANGUAGE

A medium-dark indigo chassis carrying the visual record of extensive wash processing, with vertical fade streaks and thigh whiskering creating a weathered topography across the surface. The rear view exposes horseshoe back pockets stitched in cream-white thread that stands in sharp relief against the blue-grey field. The arcuate motifs read as luminous hieroglyphs traced onto a darker ground.

The leg silhouette falls straight with a subtle bootcut opening, terminating in frayed, unhemmed edges where the weft threads have been liberated from the finish. A small point of surface wear is visible at the left hem, evidence of prior use cycles. The overall wash creates a mid-range tonal value, neither the deep indigo of raw denim nor the near-white of extreme abrasion, but a balanced grey-blue that reads as seasoned and archive-ready.
