The second artifact in the Juriffa sequence shifts toward a darker, more funereal register. The chassis is cut from a black crinkled-texture fabric that reads as weathered and time-worn even in its stillness. A dense cluster of fabric flowers cascades down the left lapel — black silk roses sit at the crown, descending through grey and beige mesh-tulle blooms into frayed gauze petals whose edges have been allowed to deteriorate into wispy filaments. Beneath the floral mass hangs a vertical burlap strap with frayed longitudinal edges, terminating in thin leather cord loops that dangle like remnant sinew. White contrast stitching threads across the lapel edge and through the body, providing the only visual punctuation against the dark, matte surface. This is not decoration — it is controlled decay, the blazer functioning as a substrate for decomposition.
