SURFACE LANGUAGE

An asymmetric sculptural form in oxidized silver, this hardware element features two sharp pointed projections rising from the band at opposing angles, creating a silhouette reminiscent of horns or crescent terminals. The surface is matte and subtly pitted with a consistent micro-texture that reads as cast and lightly tumbled. The band itself is slender where it meets the finger, widening and deforming as it approaches the points, creating an organic, almost biological contour. The patina is cool and even, a uniform grey tone that emphasizes the radical geometry without embellishment. There is no decoration beyond the form itself, the statement made purely through silhouette and negative space.
