Helmut Lang — the Vienna-born minimalist who restructured the language of suiting and surface before departing his own house in 2005 — here renders a sleeveless blouse in two opposing black fabrics. The body panels present a matte, structured crepe. Lateral inserts shift into a hexa burn-out textile: semi-sheer, patterned through chemical or heat destruction of composite fibers, the negative space reading as controlled erosion. A center-back seam bisects the rear panel cleanly, terminating at a YKK silver-tone zip that runs from neckband to mid-back. The zip pull is unadorned, industrial. The cream woven label reads HELMUT LANG in black block type. Neckline is a bound crew; armholes unlined, edges turned and topstitched with restraint. Hem is straight with shallow side vents.
