SURFACE LANGUAGE

A tonal brown-taupe canvas chassis constructed in a standard straight-leg silhouette with zero taper from knee to hem. The entire garment operates in a monochromatic register: taupe fabric matched with tonal stitching that renders the seams nearly invisible, creating a smooth, uninterrupted surface plane. Dual horseshoe back pockets feature metallic dome buttons on flaps, with subtle arcuate stitching barely visible in the matching thread.

The brown True Religion leather patch at the waistband provides the only textural and chromatic variation, its debossed surface contrasting with the matte canvas below. The straight leg creates a columnar geometry, neither flaring nor tapering, maintaining consistent width from thigh to ankle. Clean finished hems with double-fold stitching. An exercise in restraint and tonal reduction.
