    SURFACE LANGUAGE

    Black velvet trousers cut with a high waist and bell-bottom flare from the knee. Asymmetrical dark denim panels are inset into each leg: the left leg carries a triangular thigh patch and a chevron knee panel, while the right leg uses an elongated vertical panel that terminates diagonally at the lower leg. Exposed topstitching traces every seam; a matte button and zip fly close the front.
