Buckled Shaft, Collapsed Form

Knee-high boot in black leather with a slouched, heavily worn shaft. The upper body of the boot falls and folds under its own weight, the leather having softened to the point where it no longer holds vertical tension — creasing and collapsing at the ankle and lower calf in a way that documents years of wear rather than careless storage. Three buckle straps cross the shaft at intervals, each one a functional anchor point that reads as structural detail against the collapsed background. Geometric applique panels sit across the upper shaft, their edges slightly raised from the base leather. The sole is chunky and platform-adjacent, providing ground clearance that contrasts with the collapsed softness above it. A boot defined by what time has done to it.
