FOOTWEAR FOUNDATION

An anonymous footwear piece subjected to intensive artificial aging to simulate years of concrete abrasion. This oversized skate silhouette records a fabricated history of heavy wear and structural decay. It is designed to look like it has survived decades of street-level trauma.

The shoe is built from heavily layered white leather and suede, shaped into a massive, padded block. The entire upper and thick rubber cupsole have been coated in a dark, grimy patina treatment. A wide, distressed lacing system secures the heavily reinforced tongue and ankle collar.
