The shell fabric reads as a tightly woven, matte-faced cloth with visible diagonal grain - dense enough to hold structure at the collar and shoulders without internal boning. The back yoke sits flat with a single centre button closure. Collar is wide and stiff, designed to stand when raised. Satin-faced lining visible at the collar interior.
