A graduated procession of spheres swells largest at the throat and tapers toward the nape, strung along a slender black cord. Ceremonial in weight and symmetry, the necklace hangs like an offering—heavy, deliberate, worn smooth by time and careful handling.
Each bead is raised from brass, formed in two hemispheres and soldered at the equator, the seam still visible as a faint fault line circling every orb. Between the larger spheres sit twisted-wire spacers coiled into concertina rings, offering a decorative pause between forms. The equatorial bands carry rope-twist wire soldered flush to the surface, flanked by fine granulated borders. The cord is a later intervention—waxed black cotton, closing with a small trio of accent beads marking the necklace's continued life.
