A relic suspended in silence—the pendant hangs low, an open circle broken by a single deliberate gap, its form recalling ancient torque bracelets rather than contemporary adornment. The asymmetry of the opening suggests arrested motion, as though the metal once flexed to embrace a wrist or throat.
Cast in solid brass, the piece carries none of the polish associated with fine jewelry—dense, weighted, matte in finish, its surface reading as artifact rather than ornament. Suspending it is a hand-twisted cord of natural fiber, dry and fibrous against the metal's industrial gleam. The closure abandons clasp or chain-link entirely: raw cord is lashed directly to the open terminals, secured through crude, deliberate knotting—three or four wraps cinched tight, fiber biting into grooves worn into the brass.
