OBJECT STUDY

Diesel Made in Italy Mid-rise bootcut in medium-dark indigo denim, manufactured in Italy. Fabric surface carries irregular cloud-wash fading concentrated at the thighs and seat — not mechanical, suggesting hand-finishing. Horizontal stress creasing visible at the fly drop. Waistband interior lined with a red printed trim, visible at the top edge. Front closure uses a matte oxidized silver shank button bearing the Diesel mark. Coin pocket retains a rectangular woven label. Red contrast stitching threads through the fly seam and pocket construction — deliberate chromatic interruption against the blue ground. Founded in 1978 by Renzo Rosso in Molvena, Italy, Diesel built its identity on treated denim and anti-establishment positioning. Rear right pocket hosts a small rose-gold metal plate stamped with the Diesel 'D' logo — restrained hardware against worn fabric. Flare opens gradually below the knee, hem unfinished in photographs.
