SURFACE LANGUAGE

A brutalist take on traditional tailoring. This waistcoat takes the formal, restrictive shape of early 20th-century menswear and casts it in heavy, workwear-grade canvas. It is a collision of class signifiers.

The stiff fabric forces a rigid, upright posture. Oversized, utilitarian buttons replace delicate formal hardware, and the severe V-neck drops sharply, acting as a deep frame for the mid-layers beneath.
