    OBJECT STUDY

    Mono Knit High Tops. A canvas footwear piece shaped as a unisex archive object. The upper, lacing system and sole unit sit in deliberate proportion, with surface finish and distressing preserved as found. Selected as a one-of-one entry, it carries the wear marks and material behaviour of a previously used item rather than new production.

    CONSTRUCTION DETAILS

    Constructed from canvas. The upper is joined to a structured sole unit with reinforced stitching at stress points, and the lacing hardware is set into reinforced eyestays. The interior lining and insole are finished for direct wear, while the outsole pattern and heel counter are left visible as part of the object's archive history. Surface grain, colour variation and construction marks are preserved rather than concealed.
