OBJECT STUDY

A black military-inspired jacket in a textured velvet or coated fabric with a high buckle collar and silver-tone hardware. The front is trimmed with vertical button bands in a Napoleonic style, while the back features a large silver cross and matching chevrons on the sleeves.

Black textured velvet / coated-cotton outer with a high stand collar and buckle strap. Central zip front under decorative button bands with star-motif buttons. Large silver cross appliqué at the back and silver chevron stripes on the sleeves. Lined interior.

Size fits approximately UK M–L. Chest (flat) approximately 54cm / 21.3". Length approximately 64cm / 25.2". Sleeve length approximately 62cm / 24.4".

CONDITION

Grade A — Excellent vintage condition. Fabric and hardware show minimal wear. Silver trims are intact; no tears, stains, or significant fading.
