Hysteric Glamour — founded 1984 by Nobuhiko Kitamura, Tokyo — built its identity on American subcultural appropriation rendered through Japanese precision. This flannel shirt operates within that logic. Red ground cloth carries intersecting white and amber-ochre plaid lines in a medium-weight cotton twill. The plaid is deliberately misaligned at the chest pockets — both flap-closure patch pockets cut on the bias, producing a diamond orientation against the straight-grain body. A small embroidered mascot figure sits above the right pocket. Amber resin buttons throughout. The back yoke seam traces a shallow western-style arc. Collar spread is wide, softly unstructured. Black woven logo tab sewn at inner collar reads HYSTERIC® in bold block lettering.
