SURFACE LANGUAGE

Butterfingers — the Malaysian rock band that formed in 1992 and became one of the defining acts of the 90s and 2000s local alternative scene. "Transcendence" is the 1997 album, the one that pulled the band from underground to national recognition. This is a piece of Malaysian music merchandise from that era or its commemorative lineage.

Local music merchandise is a category that barely circulates outside the country, which is why FRAK / TURE treats pieces like this as archive — not because the band tee format is rare globally, but because this specific cultural artifact doesn't exist in wider vintage markets. Size S, 88cm chest, 69cm length.
